About

I paint in oil and create content for fashion and lifestyle brands.
I’m interested in understanding how artists think and work and I read constantly about the artists I admire, tracing patterns in their techniques and ideas.
That curiosity flows into everything I make, whether it’s on canvas or for a client, and as a brand the name ‘Time Consumed’ seems fitting to my considered approach.
My website aims to show both sides of that practice and my blog documents the thinking behind it.

My Artwork

My Blog, Underneath The Paint

This is my blog where I write mostly about the books I am reading on artists that I like. I enjoy reading about what influences artists, the techniques they used and the hidden meanings within their work. The more I read, the more I connect patterns between certain artists and their ways of thinking and making art.
I also sometimes write about other things that are on my mind or what I am thinking of as I make my own art (try to make my own art).
My blog is also a way to improve my writing skills as I see the art of communication as important as the act and delivery of art itself.

My Design Practice, Studio TC

For many years I have worked in marketing and branding for fashion and lifestyle brands, mostly with founders who have a great idea and a vision which I help to bring to life.
I have had the privilege and honour to work with some great brands who have a wonderful taste level and are very authentic which makes my job a lot easier.
Below are a few case studies of my most favourite projects that I have worked on.
